Here’s an interesting comparison I found between what you call experiences vs. mistakes in life. It’s an important distinction to know. Experience makes you shine throughout your journey vs. mistakes can put you in a dark hole. Even failures in life are great experiences as they can eventually lead you to your destination – as long as you don’t give up.

The goal in life is to keep the mind open, take in everything, learn from your experiences, and always move forward. Forward movement is everything.

Experiences help you grow; mistakes hold you back.

Experiences leave lessons; mistakes leave regrets.

Experiences make you smarter; mistakes make you question.

Experiences show you the way; mistakes lead you into the dark.

Experiences are necessary; mistakes are inescapable.

We’ve all seen the 7 Cardinal Rules of Life. But, here’s an expanded list of additional rules I found that we should all aspire to live by to achieve our ultimate happiness.

Be the person you want to be, because you have to see that person every day.

Stay true to yourself, because no one respects a follower.

Treat your body like a temple, because you only have one. And, it too has a time clock.

Be nice to your parents, because you never know how long you have with them.

Cherish love when you find it, because it’s rare.

Always take the high road, because the low road is never as fun.

Share your wealth with your loved ones, because it’s never fun spending it alone.

Never place happiness on material possessions, because they usually break.

Remember those who helped you, because they haven’t forgotten.

Help those in need, because you never know when you’ll need them.

Stop thinking so much, because your thoughts are the root of most of your problems.

Choose kindness, because bad words make even worse enemies.

Follow your heart, because there’s no better guide.

Give thanks, because it’s way better than asking for forgiveness.

Never lie, because you’ll always get caught.

Tell your parents you love them, because that’s all they wants to hear.

Sing when you feel like singing, because your voice is meant to be heard.

Dance like nobody’s watching, because that’s how our bodies should move.

Always speak from your heart, because there’s no equivalent substitute.

Never cry over spilled milk, because it’s just milk.

Forget those who did you wrong, because they definitely forgot you.

Don’t discredit anyone or break loyalty, because you might need a job some day.

Keep your enemies close, because there’s no better place to keep your eyes on them.

Go to bed early, because it’s easier to get up in the morning.

Find the silver lining, unless there’s a golden one.

Never judge on first impressions, because people always surprise you.

Be prepared for the worst but don’t expect it, since it’s always better to be surprised than disappointed.

Forgive those who hurt you, because you’re only hurting yourself at this point.

Never follow the crowd, because you’re better than that.

Don’t rely on appearances, because beauty fades for everyone.

Ask questions, because they’re the precursor to answers.

Respect your elders, because they’re smarter than you.

Make your own path, because it’s the only way to where you want to go.

Remember the good times, because bad times will give you an ulcer.

Work hard, because nothing good comes from being lazy.

Dream big, because small dreams are never worth the chase.

Start today, because tomorrow may never come.

Think for yourself, because you’re smarter than everyone else.

Be a dreamer, because no one likes a realist.

Think before speaking, because it always helps your case.

Don’t take life too seriously, because when it’s over you’ll feel like a fool.

Be a good friend, because the world needs more. There isn’t a world of good people out here.

Look people in the eye, because everywhere else will seem disrespectful.

Breathe and be happy, because that’s the whole point.

Never give up…..

For those who don’t know, I enjoy watching motor sports and was a huge F1 fan during my teens. Yes, I was obsessed with the likes of Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher and with today being a poignant date, Senna would have been celebrating his 54th birthday it got me thinking about what stuff legends are made of.

What relevance does motor sport have with business and marketing I hear you ask? The answer is Everything!! It’s all about perseverance, it is what motivates each F1 driver to get back into the seat and race in circles. They believe in themselves and as Senna once said “if you’re going to do something, you do it well”. This rule applies in business too and more importantly network marketing.


Would Senna have given up after losing a race? Would a restaurant close after a poor days taking? So why should it be any different in your network marketing companies.

There are many people out in the world who offer support to those in this industry, just like a pit crew! Without support it’s not possible to succeed on your own. However, it’s extremely important to understand that it will take time and sticking to it will definitely pay off handsomely in the long run.

We all need support at some stage in life and in business.  My advice would be to find yourself someone who you can resonate with, someone who shares your passion or more within this industry.  Build a rapport and obtain valuable insight in how to achieve the success you strive for…..believe me it can be done.

Branding plays an integral part of any business, no matter how small or large,  sadly its an a vital part of building a business which is often overlooked until it’s actually too late and one of the many factors why businesses never actually reach the stratosphere people aspire to.  Understanding the who or what is the brand and building brand recognition from the offset can mean the difference between success or failure.

I came across something very interesting the other day whilst researching for my blog, the Coca-Cola™ company ‘s brand awareness is vast, it is easily one of the most recognisable brands in the world today.  However it is just a company that makes soft drinks.  Imagine if Coca-Cola™ suddenly  lost all of its production facilities, do you think the company would be able to sustain itself?…….the answer is very simple, yes!
